Discussions have been held on the current state of the scientific works of lecturers that are PhD. candidates in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, assoc.prof. Mayis Azizov announced the statistics of lecturers working in the Faculty and having a scientific degree. Noting the benefits of getting a degree, the dean noted that defense of dissertation was also important in terms of employee motivation. He stressed the importance of organizing monthly seminars on relevant topics in order to provide the necessary support for each PhD. students and PhD. candidates to defend dissertations on time.

Later each of PhD. students and PhD. candidates gave information about the current state of their scientific works and spoke about the goals and objectives.

At the end, extensive discussions were held on the problems that might arise in the writing of scientific papers, and various proposals were made.
