Dear lecturers!

I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of October 5 - World Teachers’ Day and wish you new achievements in your sacred, honorable as well as responsible pedagogical activity!

The teacher occupies the main place in the list of professions on which the well-being of the society depends, and the educated, patriotic people, who grow up owing to the work of the holders of this profession, constantly develop and move the society forward. The position of teachers in society, their dedication as life guides, their role in education and the development of the country, as well as their services in shaping a healthy society are undeniable. Teacher’s work is the foundation of a healthy world, an investment in a healthy future.

As the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who remembered the name of a teacher with great respect and appreciation, emphasized, the hard work and daily activities of the teacher are the basis of all the achievements of Azerbaijan today.

Teachers have a great contribution in training our valiant soldiers, who have liberated our lands that were under occupation for 30 years from the enemy under the leadership of Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, have earned us victories, have been loyal to the Motherland. Patriotic youth, who have absorbed the innovations of the new era, are actively participating in the fight for our cause of justice at the front and in the information space. 

In such a historic and honorable period, regardless of the position we hold, it is once again confirmed that there are great and undeniable services of our teachers in the formation of every person as a worthy citizen.

Dear teachers, in this sacred mission started for the sake of the integrity of our Motherland, we must continue to properly fulfill our duties, make effective use of our opportunities and strengthen our joint activities, form the intellectual potential of our people, protect our language, culture, and spirituality, and foster young people loyal to their people with a strong sense of devotion to the land.
