Next stage of Korean language courses starts at BEU

The next stage of Korean language courses has organized by Khirdalan King Sejong Institute under Baku Engineering University (BEU) has started.

During the registration period, the Korean language course received more than 500 applications, and 175 people, including 7 groups, were eligible to attend classes.

The participants were selected together with the Korean organizers in accordance with the principles of "Successful completion of the Khirdalan King Sejong Korean Language Course for the Fall Semester 2020" and "First Registration".

Classes will be held online, taking into account the current pandemic situation, and the course will run until June 5. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from the King Sejong Institute. The certificate will be awarded to students who have attended more than 70% of classes and have a test score of more than 60.

It should be noted that in accordance with the cooperation agreement signed between BEU and Inha University of Korea, a dual degree program in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering is being implemented this academic year. The Khirdalan branch of the King Sejong Institute was established as one of the areas of cooperation on the dual degree program. The main goal is to teach Korean to students, teachers and graduates.
