Baku Engineering University (BEU) 3rd year student of Computer Science Department Hasan Abbasov and this year's graduate of Process Automation Engineering Department Niyat Rzayev were among the winners at the "GeoPark Innovate Hackathon: Digital Innovations in National Parks" hackathon jointly organized by "Azerkosmos" and Codelandia Academy.

A student and a graduate of BEU won the 3rd place in the hackathon dedicated to the observation of the earth from space, held within the framework of "World Space Week-2024".

As part of the hackathon, talented young people came together and presented innovative solutions to create a digital map of our national parks. The hackathon held for the first time in our country and this initiative aims to contribute to sustainable development by creating new opportunities for technology innovation in the ecosystem of Azerbaijan.
