BEU students scoring highest points at three faculties awarded

Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted an award ceremony of students who scored the highest points at the Faculties of Engineering, Architecture and Construction, Economics and Administrative Sciences in the fall examination session.

Opening the event, BEU Rector, professor Havar Mammadov noted the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev to science and education, and the reforms implemented in this direction. It was emphasized that during the pandemic, many students, who were members of families belonging to socially vulnerable groups, benefited from tuition discounts. As a continuation of these measures, Havar Mammadov spoke about the student loans provided by the newly established Student Loan Fund as well as about the state programs implemented on education abroad and other areas.

Stating the growing number of students at the University year by year, the Rector highlighted the activities of student organizations at BEU, including the Student Youth Organization, the Student Trade Union Committee, the NAP Youth Union. Havar Mammadov also touched upon the teacher-student relations and a healthy environment within the University.

Stressing the high achievements of BEU students in various knowledge competitions held across the country, the Rector also noted the students’ results in autumn semester examination session and the relevant statistics.

Reminding that BEU student scoring the highest points at Education Faculty had been awarded, Havar Mammadov congratulated all students who scored the highest points and expressed his best wishes.

The faculties’ students with the highest points in the fall examination session were awarded and presented with "Honorary Degrees" and various gifts.
