Under the organization of the Department on work with career and entreprises, an informative session has been organized by the representatives of Coca Cola İçecek Azerbaijan for students. 

The session was attended by students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Process Automation.

Public Relations Supervisor Aytan Mammadova, Production Manager Eldar Jafarov, Human Resources Manager Zarina Seyidova, HR Specialist (Learning and Development) Gulen Ibrahimzada delivered a speech.

Of note, Coca Cola İçecek is an multinational beverage company which operates in Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The company employs close to 10,000 people and has a total of 29 plants in 11 countries, offering a wide range of beverages to a consumer base of 430 million people. The company, which has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1996, has doubled its operations over the past three years and contributed to the country's economy. The company's support for social projects, including "Clean Country Project", "Clean Sumgayit Pilot Project", "Let's Protect the Caspian Sea", "New Generation Project" and others implemented in the last 5 years was emphasized. 

The event discussed the increase in the number of female employees in the company, as well as the support for improving the business skills and financial literacy of about 1,000 women living in the regions.

The meeting provided extensive information on the company's opportunities, international experience, as well as about career opportunities.

Later, "STAR the FUTURE" internship program announced by the company for students was discussed in detail at the session. It was emphasized that students starting the last course from September of the currect academic year can apply to the program. Students who successfully complete the Online Assessment and Case Study phases will begin their internship in September 2022.
