Baku Engineering University (BEU) has introduced new TV lessons. A total of 24 lessons have been broadcast within the framework of TV Lesson project, which has continued for 5 weeks.
The new TV lessons broadcasted this week included 1 lab lesson in Chemistry Education Department, and 2 theoretical lessons in Automation and Electrical Engineering and Finance Departments.
The main goal of BEU "TV lesson" project is to ensure that interest in teaching does not decrease in the current pandemic situation, as well as to present in tele format the subjects that are difficult to teach remotely, as well as those that need to be taught in the laboratory. Hence, students have the opportunity to follow the practical laboratory work in a more convenient way.
It should be noted that 70% of education at BEU is in English, and TV lessons are broadcast in that language, which has a positive impact on the development of students' language skills.
In order to ensure that TV lessons are available not only for BEU students, but also for students studying at other universities, "TV lesson" section has been created on the University's website. Students can watch all TV lessons posted in that section (https://beu.edu.az/az/page/teleders-190/) at any time.
