An event called "Azerbaijan Day" has been held at Inha University of the Republic of Korea (South) in connection with the declaration of the city of Shusha as the "Cultural Capital of the Islamic World" for 2024.
Students of the dual diploma program (BEU-INHA DDP) conducted between Baku Engineering University and Inha University participated in the event, which took place within the framework of the joint cooperation of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and our embassy in Korea.
At the event, a corner of Azerbaijan's national costumes was created, our national cuisine was presented, and quizzes were held to introduce the history, culture, and geography of our country. Anar Rzayev and Jala Mammadova, fourth-year students of the "Civil Engineering" specialty of BEU-INHA DDP, presented the national dance of Azerbaijan.
Moreover, books and paintings related to our country were presented at the event, including "Azerbaijani Tales" translated by Leyla Masimli, doctoral students of INHA University, and Soojin Yu with the support of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.
A total of 385 students study within the BEU-INHA DDP based on the 3+1 model. They have the right to study at BEU for 3 years and at Inha University for 1 year.
According to the program, 61 students of the "Construction engineering", "Information technologies", "Electrical engineering" and "Electronics engineering" specialties of BEU are completing the final course at the Inha University. After returning to Baku, the defense process at BEU is planned for the students who graduated from Inha. After the defense, students will receive 2 diplomas.
