BEU hosts event entitled “Future in Engineering, Engineering in Future”

Under the organization of the Department on work with entreprises and career, the Azerbaijan branch of Ozgun Constructıon Industry and Trade inc. has held a seminar entited "The Future in Engineering, Engineering in the Future."  

The event was organized for third-year students majoring in Industrial Engineering.

Head of the company's branch in Azerbaijan Alim Shenturk delivered a speech on the history of the organization he represented and its activities. The company has been operating for 50 years with quality services in the building and construction industry, one of the leading sectors of the Turkish economy.

A.Shenturk noted that the organization aimed to be one of the leading companies in the world that maintains its sustainable growth with the values it creates in the global market, is preferred with its competitive power, is trusted like a strategic partner, advances with the power of time, is sensitive to the environment and human. He added that striving to be the best in every field in which it operates (irrigation, dam, port, subway, railway, highway and bridge projects), Özgün Yapı shapes its future with its successful projects signed locally and internationally.

In his speech, A. Shenturk spoke about student life, the impact of the knowledge gained at the universities he studied on work-life, as well as the experience of teamwork.  

Later, the speaker presented a book to a third-year student of Industrial Engineering Department at BEU Elvin Askarov, answering a question on the company's social media account.

At the end of the seminar, Taleh Marayev and Anar Vahubov, representatives of the company, delivered a speech on gaining business experience and ways to justify the confidence of the company's administration.

The event ended with answering questions of students and discussing prospects for mutual cooperation
