Under the organization of the Department of Biology and Chemistry, Baku Engineering University has hosted an event entitled “Autism is Difference” dedicated to April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day.

At the event, organizations dealing with the problems of people with autism in Azerbaijan provided detailed information about the symptoms of autism, its causes, the role of environmental and genetic factors in autism. It was noted that the integration of autistic childiren with different spectral perceptions into society, the organization of their education was one of the urgent problems facing modern pedagogy.

At the end, a speech by a person with autism about the syndrome was presented to the participants.
