Employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have participated in the III General Assembly of the "Climate Campaigners" research and innovation project, which was implemented within the framework of the "HORIZON-2020" program in Brussels.

At the event where climate changes and the effects of the factors causing them were discussed, associate professor Isa Gasimov, associate professor Parviz Hasanov, Etibar Kahramanov were represented within the framework of the "Climate CAMPAIGNers" project funded by the European Union and joined by BEU as a partner (https://www.climate-campaigners.com/).

The "Climate Campaigners" research and innovation project, coordinated by the Energy Institute of the Johannes Kepler University of Austria, is one of the global activities in the field of climate.

At the assembly, researchers representing the partners of the "Climate Campaigners" project from different countries exchanged experiences on climate change, its causes and mitigating their effects, as well as the work done within the framework of the project.

BEU, the main partner of the "Climate Campaigners" project from Azerbaijan, is ambitious to carry out interesting programs in the direction of spreading the international experience gained in the field of climate change and carbon footprint study in our country. Studying the international experience by participating in the "Climate Campaigners" project is also of special relevance within the framework of "COP29", which will be held for the first time in our country.
