Rakib Efendiyev, Head of Mathematics Department at Baku Engineering University (BEU), will participate as an invited speaker at IBRAS 2021: the International Conference on Biological Research and Applied Science. The event will be organized online by Jinnah University for Women https://ibras.juw.edu.pk/Speakers.html) .

The conference aims to bring researchers from around the world together, share achievements and experiences in biology, chemistry, as well as physical sciences.

The international event is planned to be held on January 20-21, 2021 in a total of 8 sections.

BEU associate professor will deliver a report on "Spectral Analysis for one class non-self-adjoint operators with almost periodic potentials" in the section "Fundamental and Applied Mathematics" of the conference.

          It should be noted that BEU has close scientific cooperation with Pakistani universities, including the University. Within the framework of this cooperation, a memorandum of understanding was signed between BEU and Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology of Pakistan (Karachi). According to the document, last year the mathematics departments of the mentioned universities held the first international online scientific seminar entitled "Boundaries in Mathematics".
