BEU associate professor makes a speech at the event on the Khojaly genocide

Head of the Department of Social Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Associate Professor Bilal Dedayev has made a speech in the event dedicated to the Khojaly genocide at the Absheron District Police Office.

After a minute of silence for memory of the Khojaly martyrs, Police Colonel Elchin Rajabov inaugurated the event.  

Then, making a speech, B. Dadayev stressed that the Khojaly genocide was one of the bloodiest crimes committed against our people in the twentieth century. He added that despite the fact that the Armenian armed forces committed the Khojaly tragedy on the night of February 25-26, 1992, they could not the break the will of Azerbaijani people. In his speech, he also stressed the indecisive and incompetent policy of the Azerbaijani leadership at that time, noting that the timeply support was not provided for Khojaly.

B.Dadayev said that during the panel discussions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the Munich Security Conference on February 15, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev advocated Azerbaijan's position with serious historical facts. He stressed that before the world community, the Armenian Prime Minister's irrational, nonsensical and ridiculous allegations were answered by President Ilham Aliyev's sharp intellect and wit, political logic.

At the end of his speech, the speaker said that the Khojaly genocide was one of the bloodiest massacres committed not only against the Azerbaijani people, but against all mankind, and our people would always remember the Khojaly tragedy.
