Rakib Efendiyev, Head of Mathematics Department at Baku Engineering University (BEU), has participated as an invited speaker at IBRAS 2021: International conference on biological research and applied science.

The conference, online organized by Jinnah University for Women (https://ibras.juw.edu.pk/Speakers.html) was attended by BEU associate professor with the topic of Spectral Analysis for one class non-self-adjoint operators with almost periodic potentials. Prior to the report, stressing the strength of Pakistan-Azerbaijan friendly relations, he thanked the people of Pakistan for their attention in difficult times of Azerbaijani people and expressed confidence that these relations would be further strengthened.

In his report, R. Afandiyev spoke about the study of non-self-adjoint operators with periodic potential everywhere through spectral analysis, which allowed to more accurately describe the model of planetary motion, taking into account the absorption and emission of the atmosphere.
