A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and "Center of Agile Communication" LLC. The document was signed by the rector of the university Yagub Piriyev and the director of the mentioned LLC Anar Rustamov.

It was stated at the event that the memorandum aims to jointly organize acceleration and other development programs, as well as to establish cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Within the framework of cooperation, exchange of information and experience, execution of joint projects is envisaged.

According to the document, acceleration services will be provided to joint scientific research projects for master's and doctoral students of the university at the Acceleration Center, which has started to operate at the BEU Technopark. This cooperation will encourage the creation of startups that can present new solutions to the market and the business world in general, and at the same time, the processes of attracting startups to development stages and investment programs will be ensured. At this stage, it is planned to take steps to turn startups into businesses, integrate them into the market, and attract investment. Participants who graduate within the framework of the training and research process acceleration program will be provided with appropriate certificates.

At the event, it was also noted that the main difference of the program to be implemented in the Acceleration Center of the BEU Technopark from the acceleration programs currently applied in the market is that it operates within the higher education institution and selects the target for the development of research-based projects. In the future, the formation of "Deep technology"-based start-ups will also be implemented in this center
