Article co-authored by assoc.prof. Yusif Abdullayev, head of Chemical Engineering Department at BEU, Nazani Karimova, lecturer of the Department, has been published in “ChemistrySelect” impact factor journal of “Wiley” publishing house.

The mechanism of obtaining polycyclic imidazoles was studied by theoretical calculations in the article entitled “Construction of New Azo‐group Containing Polycyclic Imidazole Derivatives: Computational Mechanistic, Structural, and Fluorescence Studies”. The fluorescent properties of molecules were studied and their use in optioelectronic devices was proposed.
