The total number of articles by BEU staff that have been published in scientific journals reached 508 in the last three years. 56 of these articles were published in journals with impact factor, including the Web of Science platform, while 131 in Scopus, 108 in other foreign scientific journals, and 327 in scientific journals in Azerbaijan. 

In the academic year 2018/2019, about 30 contracts were signed with business entities to commercialize science and carry out research according to business orders.  Moreover, “New Idea” contest, as well as various scientific competitions were carried out under the arrangement of BEU Technopark and sponsorship of BP.

To expand sources of funding for research activities, as well as to implement national and international grant projects, custom research activities, along with the university budget were set as main objectives.

It should be noted that the integration of doctoral education at BEU with European standards has been considered as one of the main tasks and relevant work is being continued in this direction.
