DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
The department of Computer and Information Technologies of Baku Engineering University is a computer engineer with a high impact on human and society, with the latest technology, self-developed, teaching and research that constantly raises the society and, in particular, morale and ethical values and IT professionals. The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology offers a unique opportunity for students to develop themselves in computer science, software and hardware. Employees of the department are also members of a number of international organizations (IEEE, ACM), as well as organization of several international conferences and seminars. There are programs at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.
There are 5 computer laboratories, one of which is Apple Laboratory, which is one of the departments. Nearly 150 computers have been connected to the local area network (LAN) and the Internet. There is also an electronic laboratory equipped with the necessary equipment.
The Cisco Laboratory is one of the few local networks available in Azerbaijan. Students get an opportunity to get CCNA certification through their company exams. There are 6 router, 3 switch and 17 computers in the laboratory.
Another feature of our department is its functioning scientific research laboratory. Currently, the laboratory is implementing joint projects in the fields of robotics, programming and IT management, organizing seminars, exhibitions, exhibitions, competitions, engineering days, cooperation with local and international organizations.
With this opportunity, our department has made many achievements. The students of the department are regularly attending "Informatics and Programming" and International programming competitions held in our Republic under the guidance of leading teachers of this chair. In these competitions, students have repeatedly been awarded the 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and have won numerous diplomas and medals in general and have been honored with special honors certificates. Our University is hosting a host of "Informatics and Programming" Olympiads in our Republic.
Department of Computer and Information Technologies conducts various meetings, excursions, discussions and seminars to enhance students' outlook and ensure their identity. Invites renowned people in the field of computer science in our country and around the globe to help keep students in touch with the business world, constantly learning about innovations and modern requirements. Students of the department participate in various student associations, theater and other artistic activities, interests and abilities.

Scientific and social activity of the department for students
In the ICT Scientific Laboratory, which is operating at the chair, the teams, organized by our teachers and our teachers, carry out various projects in the field of robotics, electronics, software, etc. Our projects are exhibited at various exhibitions to demonstrate our activities here.In addition, our students are members of various social clubs and take an active part in social activities of our university.
