The Department of Architecture and Construction under the Faculty of Engineering at Baku Engineering University established on November 8, 2016 by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to ensure the improvement of the teaching of engineering technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the preparation of highly qualified personnel in this field was founded in the academic year 2017-2018. Department of Architecture and Construction is headed by Professor, Honored Architect Sabir Orujov.
The achievements of rapidly developing construction sector in Azerbaijan, the newly established Department of Architecture and Construction under the high technical and intellectual capabilities of Baku Engineering University, aims to build on its core methodological principle on evaluation, development and implementation of creative ideas in the context of close cooperation between science, practice and education. put it.
Bachelor's degree and master's degree in architectural sciences are envisaged. The course is based on the experience of the leading universities of the world by setting up their activities based on the basic curricula of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Urban development professional activities involve the study of theoretical foundations of reconstruction of urban structures and protection of historic sites for engineering and refurbishment of urban areas by designing urban planning and architectural objects using the classification of programs related to architectural project processes. The aim of the course is to study modern construction techniques, construction methods, modern building materials, using modern computing techniques and software, modern technical diagnostic methods, achievements in science and technology, best practices of Azerbaijan and foreign countries, design principles of buildings and structures . Graduates who have graduated from the specialty according to the fundamental and vocational training of the bachelors are required to apply to any occupational area, organization, department, institution, association, etc., corresponding to the profession and qualification regardless of their form of ownership and subordination. in different educational institutions (excluding academic, scientific and pedagogical areas of higher education), subject to the existing rules, including in the spheres.
The specialty of Logistics and Transport Technology Engineering was organized in accordance with the newly established specialty "Classification of qualifications for bachelor's degree in higher education".
The goal here is to develop students' knowledge, skills and abilities as an economist-engineer, constantly changing and developing on the latest scientific achievements, based on the capabilities of modern technologies, software, including logistics (transportation organization) and engineering technology.
In accordance with the fundamental and vocational training of the undergraduate, specialist who graduated from a specialty is required to be employed in any field of production, organizations, offices, enterprises (especially those engaged in logistics and transport engineering engineering), associations and professional associations, regardless of their form of ownership and subordination in different educational institutions (excluding academic, scientific and pedagogical areas of higher education), subject to the existing rules, including in the spheres.
