The faculty and student staff of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have visited "Azertechnoline" LLC on an educational excursion.

The excursion, attended by students of the first and third year majoring in mechanical engineering and machine engineering under the guidance of Asif Guliyev, head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of BEU, department employees, Natig Rzayev and Vurgun Gahramanov, was carried out in order to apply the practical lesson on the subjects "Materials Science" and "Fundamentals of Casting" in production conditions.

Officials of LLC gave detailed information about the plant to BEU staff. It was noted that "Azertechnoline", which implements important projects in the field of industry, plays an important role in the direction of the development of industrial infrastructure in our country, further strengthening and modernization of the existing potential. Steel pipes, polyethylene products, technical equipment and goods produced in cast iron foundries created by the company are exported to many countries of the world.

During the excursion, the students, who got acquainted with the production areas, watched the process of assembling drawers in the "Assembly workshop" under the guidance of the subject teacher and LLC employees, and took practical lessons in accordance with the curriculum in the "Cast Iron" workshop.

According to the cooperation between BEU and "Azertechnoline", it is planned to organize some practical classes and seminars in the relevant subjects in the mentioned specialties in LLC in the next academic years.
