According to the memorandum of understanding signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Mathematics departments of these universities will organize a joint international online scientific seminar.

The purpose of the seminar will be to discuss opportunities for cooperation between two universities and ways to implement them.

At the seminar entitled "Borders in Mathematics" to be held on August 27, 2020 at 14:00, assoc.prof. Rakib Afandiyev, Head of the Department of Mathematics at BEU, and prof. Rashid Kamal Ansari, Head of the Department of Mathematics at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, will speak on "Direct and inverse problems of spectral analysis" and "Some functions and their role in module classification", accordingly.
