Ethics Committee Plays a Crucial Role in Ensuring a Healthy Environment and Sustainable Development at BEU

An Ethics Committee operates at Baku Engineering University (BEU) to ensure academic integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct principles in higher education and scientific activities. The committee, which plays an important role in protecting and developing ethical principles at the university, consists of a chair, a deputy, and five members.

The committee ensures that scientific research, academic activities, and management decisions comply with ethical principles, and oversees the prevention of potential conflicts of interest and ethical violations. At the same time, the committee's activities serve as an essential mechanism for protecting the rights of teachers, researchers, and students, as well as enhancing the objectivity and reliability of scientific results.

This structure also contributes to strengthening the university's academic reputation and its integration into the global scientific space by ensuring consideration of the human factor, data confidentiality, and social responsibility in scientific research.
