**Students admitted to these programs will have the opportunity to study under the 2+2 dual degree model implemented jointly by Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), People’s Republic of China. Based on students’ academic performance during the first two academic years, up to 15 students per program with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 81 or higher may continue their studies at BUCT on a scholarship. Students with a CGPA in the range of 61–80 are eligible to continue their studies at BUCT on a tuition-paying basis.

****Admission to these programs is carried out under the 3+1 model of the BEU–BUCT Faculty of Engineering dual degree program. Students complete the first three years of study at BEU and the final year at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Based on academic results of the three study years, students with a CGPA of 91 or higher will be eligible to complete the fourth year at BUCT on a scholarship. Students with a CGPA in the range of 71–90 may continue the fourth year at BUCT on a tuition-paying basis. Students who do not meet the required academic criteria or choose not to continue their studies at BUCT will continue their education at BEU in accordance with the relevant regulations.

Note: In English-language specialties, the competition is held jointly in Azerbaijani and Russian sections.
