Participants of “New Horizon” Project Visit BEU

An ознакомment tour has been organized at Baku Engineering University (BEU) for participants of the “New Horizon” project.

The tour aimed to support 20 young people from vulnerable groups in their future career choices. Within the program, participants were introduced to the university’s infrastructure and provided with detailed information about the specialties available at BEU, the educational process, laboratories, and the Technopark. The participants also toured the laboratories and became closely acquainted with the work carried out there and the available technical facilities.

The orientation tour was met with great interest by the participants and contributed to broadening their understanding of the academic environment.

It should be noted that the “New Horizon” project is aimed at increasing employment opportunities for young people deprived of parental care and ensuring their equal rights to development. The project is implemented by HBN Group LLC with the support of SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations and the South Caucasus Pipeline partners.

Within the framework of the program, which covers 80 young people aged 15–18, participants are provided with vocational education in relevant fields, practical employment opportunities, and psychosocial support.
