Opportunities of Faculty of Economics and Management Presented to New Students

An orientation meeting was held with newly admitted first-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The meeting was attended by the faculty's Dean, Nasimi Kamalov, members of the faculty staff, and other employees.

During the speeches, students were given information about the faculty's activities, teaching directions, opportunities created within the specialties, the academic environment, and the conditions available for active participation in university life. At the same time, it was highlighted that the fields of economics and management are developing dynamically today, and that demand is growing in the labor market for specialists in these directions who think flexibly and possess an analytical approach and modern knowledge. It was noted that the faculty places special emphasis not only on students acquiring theoretical knowledge, but also on developing their analytical thinking, decision-making, communication, teamwork, and other professional skills.

It was emphasized that the faculty's modern material and technical base creates important opportunities for ensuring the training of high-quality personnel. It was noted that, alongside lecture halls equipped with technical equipment, modern laboratories also operate here, serving to reinforce students' theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

An educational environment that meets modern requirements, a transparent and healthy academic atmosphere, as well as an experienced faculty, create favorable conditions for training highly qualified specialists at the faculty.

At the meeting, alongside students' adaptation to university life, the importance of making effective use of the academic and professional development opportunities that will open up before them during their studies was also emphasized. They were given information about BEU's electronic management system, the organization of the teaching process, disciplinary rules, and the opportunities students can take advantage of within the university. Students' questions of interest were answered.
