Scientific-Methodical Seminar on New World Order and Global Economic Changes Held at BEU

A scientific-methodical seminar titled "The New World Order and Structural Changes in the World Economy: Globalization or Transformation of International Relations" was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Baku Engineering University (BEU).

 

The event, organized in line with the 8th Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations (Decent Work and Economic Growth), was attended by the faculty's academic staff and members of the Student Scientific Society.

 

At the seminar, Ibrahim Rzayev, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Management, delivered a presentation outlining the essence and historical formation of the new world order. The address also enumerated the complex changes taking place in the world economy, presenting within this context the prerequisite conditions for structural transformation, the current state of affairs, geographic factors, and development prospects. The concepts of globalization, deglobalization, and parallel globalization were also examined, along with an overview of ongoing processes, the current state of the subject in international relations, and objective transformation processes.

 

During the extensive discussions held around the presentation, the relevance of the topic was emphasized, as was the importance of continuing research in this field. Participants also noted the positive impact of such scientific-methodical seminars on the development of students' analytical thinking and research skills, the strengthening of the academic environment within the faculty, and the formation of new scientific approaches.

 

The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session for participants.
