Chess Tournament Held in Korea with Participation of BEU-INHA DDP Students

A chess tournament titled "Solidarity in 64 Squares" was held for Azerbaijani youth living in the Republic of Korea (South) on the occasion of December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day. The project, supported by the Support Fund for Azerbaijani Diaspora, was organized by Jala Karimli, a student of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and Korea's INHA University.

 

The tournament held at INHA University aimed to bring together young people living in Korea on a single platform and to promote the ideas of national unity and intellectual development.

 

According to the results of the competition, students of "Electrical Engineering" specialty - Ibrahim Ismayilov took 1st place, Nasib Ahmadov took 2nd place, and Nijat Babazade won 3rd place.

 

The winners were awarded with diplomas and prizes.

 

An intellectual questions section was also organized within the framework of the project. This created an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their knowledge, while adding additional color to the event.
