BEU Student Win “Azercell Telekom” Scholarship Program

Elmira Aliyeva, a third-year student majoring in Information Technologies at the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been named among the winners of the “Student Scholarship Program” of Azercell Telekom LLC.
Implemented in line with the strategic targets for the development of the digital economy in Azerbaijan for 2026–2029, the program aims to support young people studying in STEM fields. This year, more than 1,500 applications were submitted to the program. Candidates were evaluated through a multi-stage selection process that assessed their knowledge and skills, as well as their analytical thinking abilities. As a result, a total of 15 students from various higher education institutions across the country were awarded the scholarship.
Having successfully completed the selection stages, Elmira Aliyeva has been granted a monthly scholarship and awarded a certificate by Azercell.
It should be noted that the “Student Scholarship Program” has been implemented since 2007, and to date, Azercell Telekom has provided scholarships to more than 300 students.
