BEU Students Claim Victory at "RoboCode III" Robotic Coding Competition

Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have successfully participated in the "RoboCode III" robotic coding camp organized for youth, placing among the winners.
Held jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President, "Innovation Center," "Bilişim Vadisi," and "SAHA Robotics," and sponsored by Expressbank, the camp saw participating teams develop a variety of innovative prototypes. The projects of the 5 teams that qualified for the final stage were evaluated by a panel of judges.
Based on the competition results, the team comprising Shahnabar Rustamova and Rahman Javziyev from the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies, and Ulvu Mahmudov and Nazrin Hamidova from the Faculty of Engineering at BEU was awarded third place.
The primary objective of the camp is to develop young people's knowledge and skills in robotics, automation, and autonomous systems, as well as to facilitate their access to the ROS (Robot Operating System) ecosystem. Additionally, supporting participants in working on innovative projects and expanding career opportunities in the field are among the program's priority directions.
