BEU Students Perform at Final Concert of Artistic Creativity Competition-Festival

Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) performed at the final concert of the artistic creativity competition-festival dedicated to the 103rd birth anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, held among higher education institutions.
The event, organized jointly by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Republic Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers at the Heydar Aliyev Palace, was attended by government officials, heads of higher education institutions, members of the Milli Majlis, prominent figures of culture and art, teachers, and students.
BEU students showcased their creative talents at the final concert with dance numbers, dramatic recitations, and musical performances.
The concert program featured songs dedicated to the Great Leader performed by university students, along with dramatic recitations and various dance compositions.
During the first stage of the competition-festival, selection rounds were held at 26 higher education institutions, with 576 participants advancing to the next stage out of nearly 2,000 students.
In the second stage, participants who qualified for the final based on the evaluation of a professional jury had the opportunity to perform at the closing concert.
Final performances were evaluated by an esteemed jury that included People's Artists Gulyanag Mammadova, Samir Jafarov, and Tarana Muradova, Honored Art Workers Baba Vaziroghlu and Hafiz Guliyev, Honored Artist Rashad Hashimov, and master tar player Arslan Novrasli.
The festival aims to increase interest in artistic creativity among young people, develop their creative potential, support the productive organization of their leisure time, strengthen attachment to national and moral values, and identify talented youth.
The winners of the competition-festival will be determined based on the results of the final concert and will be awarded with Certificates of Honor and gifts.
