BEU Students Get Acquainted with Azercell's Mobile Network Infrastructure

A field trip to Azercell LLC has been organized for students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) majoring in Radio Engineering and Telecommunications. The primary objective of the visit was for students to gain practical knowledge about mobile communication network operations, technical management mechanisms, and modern technologies applied in the telecommunications sector.

During the meeting, held under the supervision of Fakhranda Mammadova, Senior Lecturer at BEU's Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy, company representatives provided students with detailed information about Azercell's areas of activity, corporate values, and technological innovations.

During the excursion, Fadaya Yagnaliyeva, a specialist from the company's Human Resources Department, spoke about Azercell's strategy, operating principles, and achievements.

Subsequently, Rovshan Mammadov, Head of the Quality Control and Reporting Division of the Network Technologies Department, delivered a presentation on mobile communication systems, network elements, base station operations, data and voice services, as well as service quality monitoring mechanisms. During the presentation, students gained insight into trends in mobile technology development and methods for meeting customer demands.

As part of the excursion, students also had the opportunity to acquaint themselves firsthand with the operations of technical departments and the real working environment.

At the conclusion of the meeting, questions of interest to the students were addressed.
