Info Session on Dual Degree Program Between BEU and BUCT Held

An info session was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) for students regarding the dual degree program jointly implemented with Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) of the People's Republic of China.

At the event, the staff of the International Relations Department provided detailed information about the program. It was announced that since last year, the implementation of a dual degree program between BEU and BUCT has commenced at the bachelor's level under a 2+2 model, covering the specializations of Chemical, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering. It was noted that the first selected group of students is already continuing their studies in China. Attention was drawn to the fact that in January of this year, a new agreement was signed between the two universities on the implementation of a dual degree program in three additional specializations (Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Business Administration). This brings the total number of specializations available to students under the program to six.

Within the framework of the info session, detailed information was provided regarding admission procedures, required GPA indicators, and foreign language proficiency requirements. Students were also informed about the costs to be covered by program participants and the opportunities provided by BUCT.

At the conclusion of the event, questions of interest to students were answered.
