BEU's Educational Opportunities Presented at Nakhchivan Schools

Staff members of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have held meetings with prospective students at various secondary schools operating in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The primary purpose of the meetings was to inform students about the university's modern educational opportunities, specialization options, and international programs.

 

The informational meetings were organized at Secondary School No. 7 in Nakhchivan city, Secondary School No. 1 in Babek district, Secondary School No. 1 in Shahbuz district, Secondary School No. 3 in Julfa district, and Secondary School No. 3 in Ordubad district.

 

The meetings opened with a screening of a promotional video about BEU.

 

Subsequently, Vagif Qasimov, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies, and Asif Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, addressed the prospective students.

 

During the meetings, attendees were provided with detailed information about existing and newly opened specializations at BEU, the university's innovative educational infrastructure, its international relations, dual degree programs implemented with China and South Korea, SABAH groups, and activities carried out in the area of graduate employment. Particular attention was drawn to student involvement in innovative projects, the development of practical skills, and opportunities for industry collaboration. Information was also provided about the university's modern campus, laboratories equipped with high technologies, classrooms, library, student dormitory, and social environment. It was noted that the university campus offers favorable conditions for both quality education and personal development of students.

 

Tahmine Mustafayeva, Head of Nakhchivan City Education Department; Sahil Alizade, Head of Babek District Education Department; Elshan Babayev, Head of Shahbuz District Education Department; Murad Humbatov, Head of Julfa District Education Department; and Samir Zeynalov, Head of Ordubad District Education Department, provided close support in the high-level organization and coordination of the meetings.

 

Speakers emphasized that BEU graduates are being developed as competitive professionals in the labor market and are successfully employed at both local and international companies. Questions from prospective students regarding university and specialization selection were answered, and recommendations were provided on the admission process and future career opportunities.

 

The meetings were met with great interest by students and continued in an atmosphere of interactive discussion.
