BEU's International Student Geography Expands Significantly

The number and geography of international students studying at Baku Engineering University (BEU) have increased significantly in recent years. Currently, the university hosts international students from 40 countries, which represents approximately a twofold increase in the number of countries compared to previous years.
Pakistan ranks first among international students in terms of numbers. Currently, 36 students from this country are studying at the university. The following positions are occupied by students from Georgia, Yemen, Sudan, Türkiye, Russia, Chad, Iraq, Algeria, Palestine, India, Morocco, Somalia, Benin, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Iran, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Syria, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, Costa Rica, Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Malawi and other countries.
Additionally, 34 international students selected within the framework of the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program have been enrolled at BEU.
Priority given to English language instruction, organization of education in accordance with international standards and based on modern methods, as well as international experience and student exchange programs are among the main factors that make BEU attractive to foreign citizens.
The enrollment of students from various countries at BEU is an indicator of the university's recognition in the international arena, trust in the quality of education, and successful integration into the global higher education space. The university continues its activities consistently in the direction of expanding international cooperation relations, creating new educational opportunities for international students, and forming a multicultural academic environment.
