16 BEU Students Win “Digital Bridge” Internship and Scholarship Program

Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have won the “Digital Bridge” internship and scholarship program, implemented within the framework of the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Science and Education and AZCON Holding.

A total of 16 students from BEU Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies, and  Engineering Faculty, successfully passed all the competition stages of the program organized in the direction of information technologies. According to this indicator, BEU was among the top three universities.

Students will undergo internships organized in February-May of this year at “AzIn Telecom”, National Artificial Intelligence Center, “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC, “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, “Azerpocht” LLC, “Azercell Telecom”, “Aztelekom” LLC and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency.

Moreover, participants will be provided with mentor support, professional training and scholarships during the program. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real work environment, work with modern digital technologies, and gain experience under the guidance of professional experts. The knowledge and skills gained will also contribute significantly to the students' future career development.
