Admissions to BEU-INHA Dual Degree Program Open: Document Submission and Examination Dates Announced

The admissions process for the 2026/2027 academic year to the international dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South) is now underway.

Admission to the program consists of two stages. Candidates must first participate in the 2026 bachelor's level entrance examinations of the State Examination Centre (SEC) and achieve the qualifying score established for the BEU-INHA DDP. They must then successfully pass a written internal examination in mathematics, physics, and English, organized by INHA University.

Online registration and document submission for the program will take place from July 16 to 1 August, 2026. Candidates may submit the required documents via the online application form which will be active from July 16. The deadline for document submission is August 1 at 23:55.

The internal entrance examination for admission to the BEU-INHA DDP will be held on August 4, 2026, with results to be announced on August 6.

The list of admitted candidates will be submitted to the Ministry of Science and Education and officially registered with the SEC. As applicants admitted to the program will acquire the status of official BEU-INHA DDP students, they will not participate in the SEC's specialty selection (coding) stage. Sufficient time has been allocated for candidates not admitted to the program to participate in the SEC's specialty selection process.

The BEU-INHA DDP has been implemented since 2020 within the framework of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023." Pursuant to the Order of President Ilham Aliyev "On Additional Measures Related to Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Azerbaijan," the implementation period of the program has been extended until 2030.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, admissions will be conducted within the program in the specialties of "Computer Science" (Artificial Intelligence Engineering), "Data Analytics" (Data Science), "Information Technology," and "Electrical and Electronics Engineering." It is planned to admit 26 students per specialty.

The program's curriculum is based on a 3+1 model, with students spending three years at BEU and one year at INHA University. Upon completion of their studies, graduates will be awarded bachelor's level diplomas by both universities.

It should be recalled that this year, 113 students graduated and received bachelor's diplomas from both universities, bringing the total number of program graduates to 256.
