Meeting Held with Newly Admitted Students to BEU-INHA DDP

An orientation meeting was organized with students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic year to the international dual-degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) carried out between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of the Republic of Korea, along with their parents.

The main goal of the event was to inform new students about the activities of the BEU-INHA DDP, the teaching process, academic expectations, and the university environment, as well as to introduce them to the program's leadership and staff.

Opening the event with introductory remarks, Humay Jafarli, Director of the BEU-INHA DDP, congratulated the students on their successful admission. She emphasized that the program opens broad opportunities for benefiting from the academic resources of both universities, mastering modern technologies, and building an international-level career.

Kang Hansung, Project Director for the DDP, highlighted that high competition was observed in this year's admission process. Noting that applicants with strong preparation were selected for the program, he assessed the growing interest in technology-oriented specialties as a positive development and spoke about the future prospects of graduates.

At the meeting, students were introduced to the members of the Steering Committee and the DDP team, and were informed that they would receive comprehensive academic and organizational support throughout their studies.

During other speeches, detailed presentations were also given on the language of instruction, courses, student life, and disciplinary rules, as well as the achievements attained by the program's students and graduates.

At the end, the questions of interest to students and parents were answered, and the new students were wished academic success in the 2026/2027 academic year.

It should be noted that, for the 2026/2027 academic year, the places allocated within the BEU-INHA DDP for the specialties of "Information Technologies," "Computer Science" (Artificial Intelligence Engineering), "Data Analytics/Data Science," and "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" have been completely filled.
