Chair Elected for “NEW Club” Established at BEU on the Initiative of the YAP Youth Union

Ilgar Sariyev, a third-year student majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been elected chair of the “NEW Club” formed on the initiative of the Youth Union of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
Having relevant experience in youth policy and organizational work, Ilgar Sariyev has served as Deputy Chair of the BEU Student Youth Organization since 2024. For his active participation in the university’s social and public life, he has received various awards, including the title “SYO Activist of the Year” and the status of “Brand Student.” He has also played an active role in organizing official events held at the higher education institution.
Under the leadership of the new chair, key priority areas have been identified, including the more systematic development of the “NEW Club’s” activities, increasing students’ social and public engagement, promotion of national and moral values, and support for the personal and professional development of young people.
Expressing his gratitude for the trust placed in him, Ilgar Sariyev stated that he would work effectively to expand the activities of the “NEW Club,” as well as to implement innovative initiatives within the university.
It should be noted that the main objective of the “NEW Clubs” is to implement initiatives with the participation of young people in higher education institutions in the areas of social and public engagement, patriotism, personal development, and a number of other fields, and to implement multifaceted projects.
