An information session for students was organized at Baku Engineering University (BEU) regarding the "World Robot Caspian Cup 2026" (WRCC) international robotics competition, which will be held in our country for the first time in 2026.

At the information session, Vusal Suleymanli, Director of BEU Technopark, and Aysu Jabrayilova, President of the Student Scientific Society, delivered opening speeches, emphasizing the importance of such international competitions in terms of integrating youth into the innovation ecosystem. It was noted that participation in such projects makes a significant contribution to the development of students' scientific and technical potential and gaining international experience.

After a video presentation on the topic was shown to participants, Lala Gurbanova, project coordinator of the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA), Ayla Agayeva, referee and referee assistant trainee, and Nubar Guluzade, organizational field trainee for the project, gave a comprehensive presentation on the tournament. It was noted that the competition, to be implemented with the support of state and private institutions and organized by AREA, will be carried out as the largest robotics and innovation platform bringing together young people from the Organization of Turkic States, Caspian region, and Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries, as well as from various regions of Azerbaijan. The main objective of the project is to unite students specializing in robotics, drone technologies, and artificial intelligence on a single platform, prepare them for international competitions, strengthen scientific and technical cooperation among universities, and support the development of technoparks.
