Delivering the opening remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Asif Guliyev emphasized that in the modern era, higher education should not be limited to theoretical knowledge alone, and that students must also acquire practical skills aligned with the real demands of the labor market. It was noted that the professional development of students is kept under constant attention by the university administration, and that strengthening their career readiness is one of the priority directions.
During the seminar, specialists from the KVET Continuing Education Center delivered a detailed presentation on the importance of practical training, the process of preparation for a real work environment, employer expectations, and the role of continuing education in career development. Participants were also informed about ways to enhance competitiveness in the labor market.
Conducted in an interactive format, the training included question-and-answer sessions with students and discussions based on real-life scenarios. At the conclusion of the event, certificates were presented to participants.
The KVET Continuing Education Center will continue to organize informative and practically oriented events in the future, with the aim of contributing to the professional development of young people and guiding them toward the real work environment in a more prepared manner.
