BEU Conducts Survey on Inclusive Education

A survey on inclusive education has been conducted by the Strategy and Quality Assurance Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The survey aimed to examine the current state of inclusive education at the university, increase awareness in this area, and identify areas requiring further development.
The findings indicate that respondents generally demonstrate an adequate understanding of the concept of inclusive education, perceiving it as the provision of equal opportunities for all learners. Emphasizing the crucial role of academic staff in the effective implementation of inclusive education, the participants particularly highlighted the importance of adopting pedagogical approaches that accommodate diverse learning styles. Furthermore, it was noted that the knowledge and competencies of teaching staff constitute one of the key determinants in fostering an inclusive educational environment.
Overall, the survey results suggest that a positive institutional perspective toward the advancement of inclusive education has been established at BEU, confirming the necessity of sustaining systematic and continuous efforts in this field.
It should also be noted that, based on the findings obtained, it is planned to organize training sessions on inclusive education for university staff in the near future.
