Info Session at BEU Within the Framework of "Skills for the Future" Project

An info session was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) aimed at enhancing students' knowledge and skills in the fields of innovation and startups.

 

The event was organized within the framework of the IV "TUSI" incubation program of the "Skills for the Future" project, implemented by the Innovation Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAPSSI).

 

BEU Technopark Director Vusal Suleymanli and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the University's Faculty of Economics and Management Vuqar Muradov addressed the event. The speakers highlighted the work carried out at BEU in recent years toward the development of innovation and startup activities. It was noted that such projects make a significant contribution to the development of students' practical knowledge and skills. It was also emphasized that supporting young people's innovative ideas and promoting startup initiatives is one of the key priorities in the modern educational environment.

 

Subsequently, Ziniddin Babayev, Deputy Head of the Project Management Department of the SAPSSI Innovation Center, provided detailed information about the project, outlining the objectives of the incubation program and the opportunities it creates for strengthening young people's entrepreneurial skills.

 

Narmin Karimova, Project Manager of the department, delivered a presentation on the stages of the program, participation requirements, and the opportunities available to young people.

 

At the conclusion of the info session, students' questions were answered, and the importance of their active participation in the subsequent stages of the program was underscored.
