Seminar for Students Held at BEU in Collaboration with AzFina

A seminar on financial technologies was held for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management within the framework of cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Azerbaijan Fintech Association Public Union (AzFina).
At the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Nasimi Kamalov, emphasized the importance of such seminars in terms of familiarizing young people with current trends in the field of financial technologies, establishing direct communication with representatives of the real sector, and making more informed decisions in their future career choices.
During the seminar, Sabina Amirаslan, Commercial Director of "GoldenPay" CJSC, informed students about the development of financial technologies in the modern era and the new opportunities created by digitalization. The presentation provided a detailed explanation of the transition process from cash banknotes to digital currencies, the impact of this transition on the economy, and particularly addressed the trust factor in digital financial systems.
Rashit Kartal, Director of "Token Azerbaijan" LLC, spoke about the history of startup formation, the development stages of successful startups, and the importance of teamwork skills. The expert, who emphasized that innovative thinking and proper team building are among the key factors of success in business, also provided essential recommendations to young people based on real experiences.
During the seminar, students' opinions on the topic were heard and their questions of interest were clarified. Issues regarding AzFina's support for the creation and development of innovative startups in the field of financial technologies at BEU Technopark were also addressed.
