BEU participates in the "7th Local Companies Exhibition"

Baku Engineering University (BEU) is represented with its own stand at the "7th Local Companies Exhibition" held at the Baku Expo Center.

The exhibition, jointly organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and "Marsol Group," with "Birbank Business" as the official partner, showcases the products and services of more than 300 local companies operating in construction, food, information and communication technologies, education, industry, agriculture, logistics, textiles, and other fields.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will continue until June 20, was attended by BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev, heads of relevant state agencies, representatives of entrepreneurs' public associations, as well as businesspeople operating in various fields.

Speeches at the opening were delivered by Deputy Minister of Economy Rovnag Abdullayev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Seymur Safarli, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Rashad Mustafayev, Chairman of the Management Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, and Chairman of the Management Board of the "National Association of Entrepreneurs' Society" Public Union Tural Mustafayev. The speakers discussed the importance of such exhibitions in the development of entrepreneurship in the country, the support of the private sector, the increase of the export potential of local products, and the promotion of the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a tour of BEU's stand was held. The stand showcases BEU's educational opportunities, double diploma programs, scientific research activities, innovative projects, career opportunities, and work carried out in the field of industrial cooperation. The university's stand was met with great interest by exhibition participants. At the same time, university representatives held meetings with applicants, students, and company representatives, discussing opportunities for mutual cooperation.

It should be noted that the main goal of the exhibition, which has been held for 7 years, is to introduce the activities of participants to a wide audience, support their access to new markets, and develop mutual cooperation.
