Training on "Inclusivity in Education: Principles and Approaches" to Be Held at BEU

The Strategy and Quality Assurance Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU) is set to organize a training session on the topic of "Inclusivity in Education: Principles and Approaches."

The aim of the training is to raise awareness of the fundamental principles of inclusive education, contemporary approaches, and their application in the higher education environment, as well as to substantiate the contribution of this field to the university's strategic development, quality assurance system, and international standing.

The training will cover topics such as the essence of inclusive education, student-centered teaching approaches, ensuring equal opportunities, and the application of accessibility and diversity principles in the educational environment.

In addition, participants will be informed about the assessment of inclusivity approaches within international ranking systems - including QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education - across social responsibility, equity, and diversity indicators, as well as the impact of these factors on the global competitiveness of universities.

Given that the advancement of inclusive education is considered not only a matter of social responsibility but also of strategic importance in terms of the university's accreditation achievements and strengthening of its international reputation, the participation of university staff in this event is deemed essential.

The training will be held on May 5 at 11:00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the BEU Rectorate Building.
