BEU Announces Doctoral Admissions for PhD Program

Baku Engineering University (BEU) announces admissions to its doctoral program for the PhD degree for the 2026/2027 academic year. Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have completed a master's degree (by defending a master's thesis), or hold an equivalent qualification (including those currently enrolled in the second year), are eligible to apply for the PhD program.
The following documents are required for admission to the PhD doctoral program:
Personal registration form;
Curriculum vitae;
2 photographs (3×4 size);
Character reference from place of employment;
Extract from employment record book (for applicants with work experience);
Letter of consent from the academic supervisor;
Certified list of published academic works (academic works must be relevant to the applicant's chosen specialization; applicants without published works must submit an abstract (peer-reviewed) on a topic related to their chosen specialization);
Notarized copies of higher education diploma(s) and transcript(s) (citizens educated abroad must provide a recognition certificate from the Ministry of Science and Education);
- Copy of identity document.
Applicants must visit the Ministry of Science and Education's website at www.portal.edu.az, select the service "Registration of students at higher and secondary specialized educational institutions," and complete the registration process in accordance with the instructions provided.
