A Major International Achievement for BEU

Baku Engineering University (BEU) has achieved a significant milestone in higher education. For the first time in the university's history, six internationally accredited academic programmes (Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering) have been included in the official database of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). This not only confirms the high standard of academic quality applied at BEU, but also reaffirms the university's development in line with the principles of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

This achievement is the result of purposeful and systematic efforts carried out in accordance with the strategic vision of the university's leadership. The international accreditation of academic programmes has been identified as one of the priority directions in BEU's Strategic Development Plan, and the work undertaken is already yielding concrete, internationally recognised results.

At the same time, this success is regarded not merely as an institutional achievement, but as a significant contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's higher education system. It also serves to strengthen international confidence in Azerbaijani higher education qualifications.

BEU aims to increase the number of internationally accredited programmes in the future and to further expand global academic partnerships.
