Students Studying at BEU Under Heydar Aliyev Education Grant Share Their Impressions

Under the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program, 34 foreign students have been enrolled at Baku Engineering University (BEU). Implemented in accordance with a relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev, the program forms part of a targeted policy aimed at internationalizing the country's higher education system, while also serving to further consolidate Azerbaijan's position in the international education landscape.
Students studying under the grant program have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills across various disciplines, while also becoming closely acquainted with the country's rich cultural heritage and academic environment. The modern educational infrastructure established at BEU and the learning environment aligned with international standards open up broad opportunities for the successful academic development of foreign students.
Program participants shared their impressions of the educational process and the conditions created at the university:

- My name is Janaína Cruz. I am from Luanda, Angola. I am an undergraduate student in Business Administration. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program, because they gave me not only the opportunity to receive an education, but also the chance to discover a new country and a new culture. This scholarship helped me to study without difficulty, to develop as a person of good character, and to come to know a new culture and a new country.

- Greetings to all. My name is Karan Shrees. I have come from a wonderful country, Nepal. I am a winner of the Education Grant program. I am studying at the undergraduate level in Computer Engineering. This scholarship did not merely open a door for me — it was as though they gave me an entire world. One of the most impactful aspects of my journey here has been learning English at Baku Engineering University. Our teachers are very courteous and helpful; they are always ready to guide us through any misunderstanding that arises. I am a young Nepali, but thanks to this grant, I will carry Azerbaijan in my heart for the rest of my life.

- My name is Pemphero Mvansambo. I am from Malawi. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Information Systems in Management at Baku Engineering University. I am a student of the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program, and coming here, being able to study in this magnificent country, Azerbaijan, is truly a great opportunity. Being part of this society, learning new things, taking what I have learned back to my country to be of benefit, and ensuring that my homeland becomes stronger — all of this is truly inspiring. I am grateful for this opportunity that has been given to me.
