BEU Students' Startups Showcased at "Caspian Agro 2026" and "InterFood Azerbaijan" Exhibitions

Baku Engineering University (BEU) was represented at the "Caspian Agro 2026" and "InterFood Azerbaijan" exhibitions with innovative startup projects. Innovative agricultural and eco-oriented solutions developed by students were presented to participants at the university's stand.
Among the startups on display were "EkoEtanol," focused on organic fertilizer production; the "Green Guest" Agricultural Ecosystem Platform, a digital management solution for the agricultural sector; "AgroGPT," an artificial intelligence-based analytical system for the agricultural sector; as well as "Bioplastic," a startup offering an ecological alternative to plastic production.
During their tour of the exhibitions, Shahmar Movsumov - Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration-and Khalid Ahadov, Assistant to the President for Socio-Economic Affairs, reviewed the innovative projects of BEU students and received information about the startups.
As part of the exhibition, a panel discussion was also held on the topic "Agricultural Ecosystem and Artificial Intelligence in the Regions: Challenges, Solutions and Real Opportunities for Startups," organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. The panel addressed the development of the agricultural startup ecosystem, innovation infrastructure, the application of artificial intelligence technologies, and the strengthening of the innovation environment in the regions. Representatives of BEU Technopark also participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the state, the private sector, and the academic community.
