BEU Students Visit Khojaly Genocide Memorial

Members of the Student Trade Union Committee, Student Youth Organization, YENI Club, and Student Scientific Society of Baku Engineering University (BEU), as well as the university's active students, have visited the memorial erected in the Khatai district in memory of the tragedy's victims on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

During the visit, wreaths of flowers were laid at the memorial and the cherished memory of the Khojaly victims was honored with deep respect.

The students expressed their profound reverence for the memory of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. It was emphasized that the blood of our martyrs and the victims of Khojaly has not been shed in vain, as the full restoration of our country's territorial integrity and sovereignty was achieved through the historic Victory won under the Supreme Command of President Ilham Aliyev. Special note was made that preserving national memory, ensuring that such tragedies are never forgotten, and passing them on to future generations is the moral responsibility of every young person.
